Our general payment policy is cash in advance. In paying with "cash", you actually have a few options that are as good as cash like credit cards or checks. Pre-payment for charges for customers outside our Hampton Roads, Virginia market should be in certified funds or will be subject to verification by the credit office.

To pay with currency, go to a Virginian-Pilot location within your city and pay the person at the help counter. You can expect a receipt. Our universal receipt is a copy of your advertising insertion order, with the "prepaid" box marked.

If you go to pay cash at The Virginian-Pilot location at 150 West Brambleton Avenue, you will pay at the Cashier's window located behind the security guard station at the side entrance.

All signed advertising insertion orders are subject to review by The Virginian-Pilot's Credit Department for approval.
